From 1st May an entry card scheme for site workers on construction and building sites will be required. This will also apply to Pest Controllers.

It will not be mandatory but discretionary for each individual site to decide whether they sign up to the scheme but if they do anybody, and that includes pest controllers, will need a WHITE card. This is not a generic card but is person specific.

To get a WHITE card you will need to be proved competent through a Health & Safety exam/briefing.

For Pest Controllers there is not a requirement to prove competence in the pest control industry, just in Safety and Site Awareness.

CSCS will fast track your course at no extra cost if booked through them you will have your photograph taken at the end of the test and your card will be issued within 7-10 days.

The cost is £17.50 per test and £25.00 per card, a total of £42.50 plus VAT.
