| January 2007. RDF West, the Bristol-based arm of the UK’s most successful independent TV production company, is producing a new series for BBC Three.
This series takes a Pest Controller to a variety of homes and commercial premises that are infested with pests and, using the latest in the pest control technology, he will tackle the problem. We are looking for occupied residential and business properties for the programme, where the owners of the properties are in need of the intervention of a pest controller.
We are looking for some of the larger and more iconic pests: rodents, cockroaches, moles, gulls, pigeons etc. The larger the infestation the better, but we are willing to compromise on this count if the family/business owners are strong characters or if their need is extreme.
We understand there will be reluctance to pass over your potential business to us, but we are able to offer a finders fee for any properties that we feature in our programme, which, although it’s only £250, we hope would go some way to recoup loss of earnings.
Our shooting schedule is spread over a three month period and we do vow to get to the bottom of the problem and render the property pest-free.
Whilst we would like to search the whole country for our stories, due to geographic constraints placed on the production we are mainly focusing our search in London and the Surrey/Berkshire/Hampshire area – but if the story is good enough we are willing to travel.
If you are able to help us with our enquiries, or if you have any questions, please get in touch with Steve on 0117-970 7650 or Stephen.Sheldon@RDFMedia.com.
And I know that you can not pass over your clients details due to the Data Protection Act, but if you have somebody in mind, we could arrange for you to put an initial call in to see if they are open to taking a phone call from us and we can take it from there.
