Job Description
For over 25 years, Melford Pest Control have provided a professional and reliable pest control service to commercial and domestic customers within a 50 mile radius of our office near Stevenage.
We are looking for a technician to join our friendly hard working team. The area covered will be dependent on applicants home address but will primarily be Park Royal, Wembley and surrounding Greater London area and so living around this location will be an advantage.
The role will include commercial and domestic pest control, fly killer servicing and pest proofing. Applicant will be required to be on call one weekend per month with overtime paid if called out.
Required Qualifications/Experience
- Qualified to BPCA / RSPH level 2 in pest management or higher.
- Experience in carrying out pest control services with a proven track record.
- A full, clean UK drivers licence is required with a minimum of 3 years driving experience.
- A clean enhanced Disclosure and Baring Service (DBS) Certificate (we will apply for this upon job offer).
Required Skills/Qualities
- Ability to plan daily work schedules and have good time management.
- Be self motivated, well organised, hardworking, reliable, flexible, honest and trustworthy, have common sense and a positive attitude.
- Good communication skills, written and verbal, and be confident dealing with customers at all levels.
