It’s been another exciting week at the NPTA, and here’s a few things of what we’ve been up to:
Monday’s board meeting went well, with positive feedback on Kevin Lawrenson initial views and vision for our Association. Watch out for a website overhaul and other initiatives to come in the weeks ahead.
The Qualification Framework meeting, took place on Tuesday which was incredibly insightful. The steering group provided great feedback, and there is a scheduled a follow-up meeting next Monday to refine some ideas. It’s fantastic to see so much industry involvement!
The National Pest Technicians Association‘s Newsletter is being finalised and will be published next week. Keep an eye out for this on your emails as there’s some excellent content in store, and of course, we’ll be reminding everyone about #PestTech24 on Nov 6th.
If you haven’t registered yet, don’t miss out! do so by the following link https://forms.reg.buzz/pesttech-2024. #PestTech24 is totally free for all attendees and we also cover the cost of parking for up to 12 hours!!
Wednesday marked Kevin Lawrenson‘s ‘On The Road Day’ at Reigate Manor. It was a great event and brilliant feedback received from the delegates – massive thank you to Maxine Kean and Grahame Turner for organising the day.
We must give a special mention to each of the presenters on the day Laurence Barnard, Paul Manning, Rich Faulkner, Melvin Knapp and our very own Grahame Turner. The standard of content and how it was delivered was as always exceptional. #Thankyou
Thursday we attended the The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health‘s Pest Control Conference where the recent changes to Glue Board license was covered and discussed with all in attendance. For many this was a real eye opener, well done to all presenters and the panel who came across professionally and really raised the profile of this change and its impact on those present.
We’re excited to share more updates with you each week, keeping our members and Pest Controllers, so please follow us on X, Facebook and LinkedIn to be kept informed of the latest NPTA news!
