It’s been another busy week at the National Pest Technicians Association. Even with our CEO being on leave the NPTA cogs keep turning
We have released our Halloween Horror blog, which has been published on social media. This seasonal article highlights the importance of pest awareness during Halloween and has already gained some attention, in particular it has been picked up by Pest Magazine, and expressandstar.com have released an article on it, so some good PR for the NPTA.
The team has been hard at work finalising everything for PestTech next week. Donna and Steve Hallam have been fully focused on organising the final details ahead of the big event. Next Tuesday, the National Pest Technicians Association will all head down to Stadium MK to get the venue ready to welcome attendees on Wednesday. We’ll be sharing sneak peeks of the venue setup on our LinkedIn page – make sure to follow us on LinkedIn, X, and Facebook to stay updated. Next week’s review will include a full recap of how PestTech24 went, so stay tuned for that.
Maxine has been busy organising and promoting the remaining training courses for this year, and booking venues for the On The Road days for 2025. Grahame has answered a wide range of member’s technical questions (from glueboard applications to bird-proofing techniques), run an in-house Safe Use of Ladders course for one of our members; and been planning some exciting new training courses and working out a training calendar for next year.
We’re excited to share more updates with you each week, keeping our members and Pest Controllers up to date with the latest NPTA news!
