Salary: £40,000 – £49,500 depending on experience

Job Description
The Role
The Technical Training Manager will support the expansion of NPTA training across the South/ South West by delivering technical training courses and helping develop new learning opportunities for members.
A key focus of the role will be increasing the availability of locally delivered training, ensuring members can access professional development without needing to travel long distances.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver NPTA technical training courses across the South/South West region
• Support the development of new training programmes and course content
• Expand the availability of locally delivered training for members
• Contribute to the development and rollout of the NPTA Member Learning Management System (LMS)
• Help develop structured learning pathways for pest control technicians and managers
• Support the wider NPTA technical and training strategy
• Represent the NPTA at training events and industry activities when required
• Provide technical guidance and support to members where appropriate
Required Qualifications/Experience
• Strong technical knowledge of pest control operations
• Experience working within the pest management industry
• Experience delivering qualification-based training courses (such as RSPH or equivalent)
Desirable
• Experience developing technical training materials
• Experience contributing to structured training programmes or learning platforms
• Interest in helping develop digital learning resources
Required Skills/Qualities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently while supporting a national team
Other Requirements
Willingness to travel across the South West region to deliver training
Desirable
• Experience developing technical training materials
• Experience contributing to structured training programmes or learning platforms
• Interest in helping develop digital learning resources
