£1,400 Donated to Support Mental Health in Pest Control
Following the success of the Have a Coffee on Us initiative at PestTech 2025, the NPTA is proud to confirm that a surplus of £1,400 has been donated to support mental health initiatives within our industry and beyond.
The coffee area at PestTech was more than just a place to pause between stands and seminars. It became a space for conversation, reflection and connection. Through the generous support of our sponsors, we were able to create a welcoming environment that encouraged open discussion around mental health and wellbeing in pest control.
After covering all associated costs, a surplus of £1,400 remained. We consulted with all event sponsors, and we are delighted to confirm that they unanimously agreed for the funds to be distributed equally between:
- PestMinds
- Andy’s Man Club
Each organisation will receive £700 to continue their important work supporting mental health awareness and providing safe spaces for conversation.
Both organisations were present at PestTech, engaging with attendees and reinforcing the message that no one in our industry should feel isolated or unable to speak up.
This donation reflects the values of our industry when it comes together — practical, supportive and action-focused.
A Comment from Kevin Lawrenson, CEO
“PestTech is about more than products and services. It is about people.
The response to the coffee area and the conversations that took place throughout the day showed just how important mental health awareness is within our industry.
I would like to personally thank every sponsor who supported the initiative and agreed to donate the surplus. This is a strong example of our industry standing together to make a positive difference.
If we can continue to create spaces where people feel comfortable talking, listening and supporting one another, then we are moving in the right direction.”
