Pest & Bird Control Technician

Aberdeen | Up to £32,000 per annum + Company Vehicle

Do you have experience in bird netting and pest control?

 

Presly Pest Control is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Pest & Bird Control Technician to join our team, covering Aberdeen and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical bird netting experience, alongside a background in pest control, who enjoys working independently, solving customer problems and delivering a high standard of service.

You’ll have the opportunity to manage your own service area, work across a variety of customer sites and use your technical skills to deliver effective pest and bird control solutions.

 

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing your own daily schedule and service area, carrying out pest control services and bird management work across a range of commercial and domestic customer sites.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out bird netting installations and associated bird control work.
• Inspecting sites and identifying suitable bird control solutions.
• Carrying out pest inspections and treatments.
• Installing and maintaining bird-proofing and preventative measures.
• Managing your own daily schedule and service area.
• Building strong, professional relationships with customers.
• Providing preventative advice and recommendations.
• Completing accurate service reports and maintaining customer records.
• Delivering excellent customer service on every visit.
• Working independently while being supported by an experienced and friendly team.

 

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with practical experience in bird netting, ideally alongside experience within the wider pest control industry.

 

You’ll need to be:

• Experienced in bird netting and bird control work.
• Experienced within the pest control industry.
• Confident working at height and carrying out practical, hands-on work.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.
• Practical and methodical in your approach.
• Confident communicating with customers and providing professional advice.
• Organised, self-motivated and able to manage your own workload.
• Positive, reliable and willing to learn and develop.
• A full UK driving licence holder.
