NPTA On The Road Days Remaining for 2026

As we head into what is always a busy period for the pest control industry, I wanted to take a moment to remind you about the fantastic training and networking opportunities still available through the NPTA over the coming months.

One of the things I enjoy most about my role is speaking with members every day, whether it’s helping someone book onto a course, answering questions about an event, or simply catching up with familiar faces at our meetings around the country. Our training courses and On The Road Days are a great chance to invest in your professional development, share experiences with fellow technicians, and stay up to date with industry best practice.

 

NPTA On The Road Days Remaining for 2026

We still have five On The Road Days taking place this year:

  • Peterborough – 8th September
  • Southampton – 16th September
  • Durham – 23rd September
  • Reigate – 7th October
  • Chester – 21st October

These events continue to be incredibly popular, offering practical technical updates, industry news and valuable networking opportunities with colleagues from across the sector.

I’ll be at all of these events so if your attending make sure you come and say hello.

 

September Training Courses

September is shaping up to be one of our busiest training months, with a range of courses designed to support technicians at every stage of their career:

  • Rodent Problem-Solving Course (Knaresborough) – 15th September
  • Drain-Based Rat Prevention for Professional Pest Controllers (Cardiff) – 16th September
  • NPTA Certificated Field Biologist Course (Warrington) – 22nd & 23rd September, with examination on 30 September
  • RSPH Level 2 Award Safe Use of Rodenticides (Waltham Abbey)- 23rd September
  • Insect Refresher Training (Walsall) – 29th September

All courses start at 9:00am, with registration from 8:30am, and finish at approximately 4:30pm to 5:00pm.

Places on some events are limited, so I would encourage you to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
