Who Are We Looking For?
At PestTech 2025, the NPTA is giving a platform to the real people behind the industry. We’re setting up a dedicated filming area to capture authentic stories from:
- Young professionals under the age of 25
- Ex-Armed Forces personnel who’ve transitioned into pest control
If you’ve got a story to tell about how you entered the industry, why you stayed, and why others should come and work in our great industry, we want to hear it.
What’s Happening?
As part of the Real People, Real Stories series, we’ll be filming short, informal interviews at PestTech to celebrate the incredible people in pest control and encourage others to join the profession.
Wednesday 5th November 2025 at Marshall Arena, Milton Keynes (at PestTech)

Your story could be featured on the NPTA website, social media, and in upcoming campaigns designed that we are working on to promote pest control as a career of choice.
What You Might Be Asked
We’ll keep it relaxed and authentic, just a simple chat about your journey, such as:
- How did you find yourself in pest control?
- What do you love about your job?
- What advice would you give to someone starting out especially a young person or ex-service member?
Why It Matters
Real People, Real Stories is about showing the human side of pest control, the diversity, the resilience, the opportunities.
By sharing your voice, you can help others see that this is an industry where people grow, thrive, and make a real difference.
