DBS reduces fees for checks and Update Service from 5 October 2026

 

The DBS are reducing their fees from Monday 5 October 2026.

The new DBS fees will be as follows:

• Basic DBS check: £20.00 (reduced from £21.50)
• Standard DBS check: £20.00 (reduced from £21.50)
• Enhanced DBS check: £41.00 (reduced from £49.50)
• Volunteer applications: no change, remain free of charge

Please note this only applies to the DBS’s own fee. Our processing fee is unaffected by this change and remains the same.

 

We will update our system on 5 October to reflect the new DBS fees. Any applications we submit to the DBS on or after 5 October will be priced according to the fees above, plus your unchanged processing fee.
