Job Description
Mitar Enviro Ltd are seeking an experienced Pest Control Technician to join their team based in Broxburn, West Lothian. All applicants should hold a full clean UK driving licence with a minimum of 5 years driving experience. They should also be qualified to RSPH / BPCA Level 2 with a minimum of one years working experience.
Mitar Enviro Ltd are a small, but growing business, with many years of experience. We are looking for a friendly, approachable and flexible person to carry out the typical day-to-day duties of a Pest Control Technician.
Duties
- Carry out pest control visits to commercial & residential properties throughout West Lothian, Edinburgh, Glasgow & surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate records of visits / treatments carried out and complete necessary paperwork
- Investigate pest issues and provide recommendations
- Carry out treatments, following manufacturer’s guidelines
- Be competent in carrying out proofing work to deny pest species easy access
- Liaise with colleagues effectively to ensure efficient and effective pest control operations
- Be able to work at height from ladders, and in confined spaces if necessary
- Occasional night-shifts and overnight stays may be necessary
Required Qualifications/Experience
- Qualified to RSPH / BPCA Level 2 with a minimum of one year previous experience in the pest control industry
- Possess a working knowledge of all pest species and effective control methods
Required Skills/Qualities
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to use own initiative
- Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Be flexible and able to provide assistance in other areas of the business if required
Other Requirements: Full clean driving licence with 5 years driving experience
