Pest Control Service Technician

The Role
Working remotely from your home, you’ll be responsible for carrying out inspections and treatments across a varied customer base, including domestic properties, farms, audited food sites and job work.
We aim to keep travelling to a minimum, with technicians servicing customers as close to home as possible.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out pest inspections and treatments across a variety of customer sites.
- Working across domestic, agricultural and audited food environments.
- Completing job work and responding to customer requirements.
- Identifying pest issues and providing effective solutions.
- Using your initiative to investigate problems and find the right answers.
- Providing a high standard of customer service on every visit.
- Completing accurate service reports using mobile applications.
- Managing your workload effectively while working remotely.
- Working independently while contributing positively as part of the wider team.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is organised, methodical and passionate about providing a high-quality service.
You should be:
- A keen problem solver who is willing to go the extra mile to find solutions.
- Highly organised and methodical in your approach to work.
- Confident communicating with customers.
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable using mobile apps and completing reports to a high standard.
- Reliable, enthusiastic and keen to develop your skills.
- A full UK driving licence holder.
Qualifications & Experience
- RSPH Level 2 Pest Management – preferred but not essential.
- BPCA Advanced Technician / RSPH Level 3 – desirable.
- Previous pest control industry experience – advantageous but not essential.
