The Campaign for Responsible Rodenticide Use (CRRU) has developed the UK Code of Best Practice to promote the responsible use of rodenticides in pest control. Honey bees, both feral (semi-wild) and colonised, are important beneficial insects and are not normally considered as pests. They live either in the wild in nests as feral colonies or as colonies in hives managed by beekeepers. Sometimes they may pose a risk, danger or nuisance to people.
