TAF Awards 2025 – Proud to Be Shortlisted
While we didn’t take home the trophy at this year’s TAF Awards, I want to take a moment to reflect on what the evening truly represented for the NPTA.
Quite simply, I am incredibly proud.
To attend the event.
To see the NPTA shortlisted.
To stand alongside some of the UK’s leading trade associations.
That recognition alone speaks volumes about how far we have come in the past year.
A Year of Progress
Over the last 12 months, we have worked hard to transform and strengthen the NPTA.
From launching initiatives such as 5<25, to enhancing our training offer, refreshing our website, expanding member benefits, increasing media presence, and representing you at regulatory and industry meetings, the direction has been clear: to champion pest controllers and pest control businesses across the UK.
Being shortlisted at a national awards event is recognition of that collective effort.
The Strength of the Trade Association Community
Not winning also reinforced something important.
The standard of trade associations in the UK is exceptionally high. Every organisation in that room is working tirelessly for its members, delivering support, advocacy, guidance and leadership day in and day out.
That level of dedication across sectors is something to celebrate.
Awards are competitive by nature, but the sheer strength of the associations represented highlights the vital role we all play in supporting our respective industries.
Raising the Profile of Pest Control
Perhaps most importantly, our presence at the event helped raise the profile of the pest control sector within the wider trade association landscape.
We demonstrated that our industry is professional, progressive and committed to high standards. Simply being in that room sends a strong message about the credibility and growing influence of the NPTA.
And that matters.
Thank You
This recognition belongs to all of you our members, board, volunteers and partners. Your support, engagement and commitment to raising standards are what drive the NPTA forward.
Winning is always nice.
But progress, visibility and momentum matter more.
We will continue building. We will continue representing you. And we will continue championing this great industry.
