NPTA Joins The Society of Food Hygiene & Technology (SOFHT)
The NPTA is pleased to announce that we have officially joined The Society of Food Hygiene & Technology (SOFHT) a respected organisation with more than 40 years of expertise in food hygiene, safety, and industry standards.
Becoming part of SOFHT is another important step in raising the profile of the NPTA and strengthening our voice across the broader food and public health sector. This partnership gives us access to specialist knowledge, influential networks, and a range of events and resources that will directly support our members and the industry as a whole.
Kevin Lawrenson, NPTA CEO, said:
“Joining SOFHT is another step forward in raising the profile of the NPTA and ensuring our members are represented at the highest levels. This strengthens our ability to champion professionalism, share best practice, and play an active role in shaping standards across the food and pest management landscape.”
Our Technical Team is also keen to get involved in SOFHT’s events, training, and working groups. This hands-on engagement will help raise awareness of the NPTA’s work, showcase the expertise within our membership, and create new opportunities for collaboration across industries.
Mark Wenman one of the NPTA Technical Managers added
“I’m looking forward to growing connections with food industry decision makers that will benefit NPTA members. It’s important to continue raising the profile of pest management as critical to food safety and the fantastic part that our members and industry plays in this”
We look forward to building strong links with SOFHT and will share updates as this partnership develops.
