NPTA joins TrustMark as approved Scheme Provider

TrustMark, the UK Government-endorsed quality scheme for work carried out in and around the home, today announced that the National Pest Technicians Association (NPTA) has been approved as a TrustMark Scheme Provider. With this latest agreement, TrustMark now works with 43 Scheme Providers to raise standards and strengthen consumer protection across the home repair, maintenance and improvement (RMI) sector.
In the UK, pest control remains one of the most sought-after home services, with rodents, wasps and insects among the most common calls for help, emphasising the need for trusted, qualified professionals when issues arise.
NPTA members will now have the opportunity to become TrustMark registered if they meet the required standards of technical competence, trading practices, and customer service and are able to demonstrate their commitment to quality, professionalism and high standards across the pest management sector.
Charlotte Carter, Chief Operating Officer of TrustMark, said: “We are pleased to welcome the NPTA as a TrustMark Scheme Provider. Pest control is an important service for homeowners, and this approval helps ensure consumers can find businesses that are competent, trustworthy and committed to meeting the high standards TrustMark represents. Working with professional trade bodies such as the NPTA plays a vital role in raising standards and improving confidence across the sector.”
Kevin Lawrenson, CEO of the NPTA, added: “I am delighted that the NPTA has been approved as a TrustMark Scheme Provider. This development marks an important step in strengthening consumer confidence in professional pest control services. Through TrustMark, NPTA members are clearly able to demonstrate their commitment to quality workmanship, high standards of customer service, and meeting robust, independently recognised standards. This significantly raises the profile of pest control as a professional, trusted industry and represents a major step forward for the sector.”
