UK Research & Innovation (UKRI) Pest Control Services – Oxfordshire
Description
UKRI are looking to contract with a supplier to provide Pest Control Services at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, and associated sites. The general service requirement includes: Internal/external rodent and insect control, Electric Fly Killers, Bed bug monitoring and Rabbit control.
Total value (estimated)
- £250,000 excluding VAT
- £300,000 including VAT

- 2 February 2026 to 1 February 2029
- Possible extension to 1 February 2030

Description of possible extension:
UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) reserves the right to extend the contract for an additional period of up to twelve (12) months beyond the initial fixed contract term. This extension option may be exercised at UKRI’s sole discretion, subject to satisfactory performance and continued need. All terms and conditions of the original contract shall remain in force during any such extension period.
Options
The right to additional purchases while the contract is valid.
UKRI reserves the right to extend the contract for a further period of up to 12 months. This option may be exercised once only. All terms, including price and scope, shall remain unchanged.
