Course Overview

A full day course for both experienced and novice pest technicians who want to know more about bedbug management. The course leads you through effortlessly from basic biology to advanced management techniques. It is run by the NPTA technical team in conjunction with Kane Crosfil of Bedbug Exterminators. Kane is very experienced in heat treatments which will form an active part of the course.

    • Tools and methods for effective detection
    • Identifying hotspots and aggravation areas

    • Heating systems will be discussed and demonstrated
    • Treatment tools and methods
    • Monitoring and follow up procedures
    • Developing a bedbug management plan
    • Documentation and record-keeping
    • Communication tactics with customers, tenants and home-owners
    • Hands-on practice of inspection techniques
    • Using dogs for detection
