Most training is open to both members and non-members. On The Road days are free for NPTA members, with a small fee for non-members. Specialist courses and online modules are open to everyone.
2. Do I need to be an NPTA member to book a place?
No — you can book as a non-member. However, members enjoy exclusive benefits such as free attendance at On The Road days, discounted specialist courses, and access to member-only training.
3. Are NPTA courses CPD accredited?
Yes. Many of our courses contribute to CPD schemes including BASIS PROMPT, British Pest Register, and other recognised professional programmes. Each course listing shows the CPD points available.
4. How do I book onto a course?
Simply click the course or event you’re interested in and follow the booking link. For some partner-delivered courses, you may be taken to the partner’s booking page.
5. Can I get a certificate after completing a course?
Yes. All participants receive a certificate of attendance or completion, depending on the course type.
6. Are there any online training options?
Yes. We offer a range of CPD-accredited online courses, including Environmental Risk Assessment, Food Safety, Working at Heights, and RAMS training via WRMOnline.
7. What are On The Road days?
These are regional, in-person training and networking events held across the UK. They’re designed to keep technicians and business owners up to date with legislation, products, best practice, and emerging trends.
8. How much does training cost?
Pricing varies depending on the course. On The Road days are free for NPTA members. Specialist courses and partner training are offered at competitive rates.
9. Do you offer bespoke or in-house training for companies?

10. I’ve booked a course but can no longer attend. What should I do?
Please Contact the NPTA office as soon as possible so we can assist and reallocate your place if needed.
